About Alex
My career in film began in 2006 as a runner at Leavesden Studios. Over the next 15 years, I worked my way through the industry, gaining hands-on experience across the Assistant Director department, Locations, and Production.

In 2016, after a long run working with the BBC, I stepped into the role of Personal Assistant and Office Manager for a family run business. It was here that everything clicked. I realised I could combine my deep understanding of film and TV production with high-level admin support — and My Set PA was born!
​
My goal is simple: to support Film & TV freelancers who are working long days and relentless schedules, where admin and life tasks can’t pause just because you’re on set.
​
I know first-hand how hard it is to keep on top of everything when you’re doing 12+ hour days, often without a proper break. My Set PA exists to remove that pressure, so you can focus on the job and still have a life outside of it.
