🎬 Who we are

My Set PA was founded by Alex Jordan, whose career launched in 2006 at Leavesden Studios and evolved through roles in the AD department, Locations & Production over a fifteen year freelance span.

In 2016, following her time as a Personal Assistant and Office Manager for a family business, Alex realised the gap: film & TV freelancers needed dedicated support outside the main production crew. That led to the creation of My Set PA.

The vision is simple: to solve your problems and save you time, giving you peace of mind while you’re on set or location.

My Set PA provides virtual assistance across three core segments—each with a tailored list of services:

Email inbox & diary management

2. Personal Support

Personal appointment setting & reminders (birthdays, anniversaries, etc)
Booking holidays, travel, transport, dining, entertainment
Home maintenance coordination (dry cleaning, house moves, etc)
Miscellaneous lifestyle-tasks so you can focus on work or rest

3. Production Office Support

Coordinating shoots, meetings, fittings and travel
Sending reminders for deadlines, call-times & appointments
Booking flights, accommodation & transport for cast/crew
Managing call sheets, scripts & production documentation
Liaising between departments, sourcing last-minute services

✔️ How it works

You reach out (via phone, text or email) and My Set PA sends over a few forms and Terms of Business. No long-term contract required.
Once onboarded, you’ll receive a link to a Trello board where you can set tasks, track progress and view completions. Time is tracked using Toggl.
Pre-payment is required (via BACS or PayPal) and there are defined packages you can purchase and use at your own pace.
Packages remain valid for a year, giving flexibility. If you need something bespoke (large production, long-term contract), tailored arrangements can be made.

💷 Pricing

5-hour package: £250 (equivalent to £50/hour)
10-hour package: £450 (equivalent to £45/hour)
Individual hourly bookings: £55/hour
Payment upfront; no contract binding; you simply use the hours when you need them.
